New Position to Oversee Firm's Marketing Efforts
Ares Management LLC announced today the appointment of Suzanne Murphy as Global Head of Marketing and Investor Relations. In this new position, Ms. Murphy will work with the marketing teams for Ares' Capital Markets, Private Debt, and Private Equity Groups in order to continue to meet Ares' clients' growing investment mandates.

Ms. Murphy joins Ares from Claren Road Asset Management, where she was Head of Strategic Development for more than two years. Prior to that, Ms. Murphy was with Tri-Artisan Partners LLC, a private merchant banking firm, and from 2003 until 2008, Ms. Murphy was a Managing Director at Delphi Capital Management, the holding company for Acorn Advisory Capital and Pergamon Partners.
Ms. Murphy received a B.A. in Political Science from Wheaton College, where she continues to serve on its Investment Committee and was a member of the President's Commission of the College.
