CEO Swapnil Shah Joins Industry Experts to Discuss the Role of Whole Building Controls in Improving Energy Performance
FirstFuel Software, the building energy analytics company, will be joining industry leaders in discussing how whole building controls can improve the energy performance and efficiency of commercial buildings at the 24th NREL Industry Growth Forum in Denver, Colo. Swapnil Shah, founder and CEO of FirstFuel Software, will be participating in the Whole Building Controls and Grid Integration panel on Thursday, Nov. 10 from 11:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. MT.
According to the Consortium for Energy Efficiency, commercial and industrial buildings made up 40 percent of the U.S. utility industry's $6.6 billion energy efficiency budget in 2010. To speed identification of energy efficiency opportunities across commercial portfolios, utilities increasingly are turning to new platforms that can remotely analyze building energy performance. Mr. Shah will discuss the ways in which remote analysis can be integrated with whole-building management systems to interface both within a building and onto the grid, driving greater energy efficiency opportunities.
