KBR (NYSE: KBR) today announced it was awarded a two-year contract extension for maintenance and construction services at three of Shell's Houston, Texas research centers: Westhollow Research Center, Bellaire Research Center and Gasmer Research Center.
KBR will continue to provide total and supplemental maintenance, small capital construction and miscellaneous services for Shell at these three research center locations. KBR has provided on site maintenance at the Westhollow facility since the company completed its construction in 1975, and the company's presence at the Bellaire and Gasmer facilities dates back 29 years.
