As we come to a close of 2011, the Company felt it to be a good time to provide a recap of our accomplishments during the last six months and an overview of our corporate goals for 2012.
Our goal at Okana Ventures, first and foremost, is to enhance shareholder value. In March 2011 Maria Peralta was elected as a director and appointed President and Chief Executive Officer. Ms. Peralta has been involved with numerous exploration projects in Mexicoand South America. We appointed Ms. Peralta as our officer and director, due to her significant experience with mineral exploration projects.
Management sees this as a long term commitment and is currently sourcing high quality resource exploration projects. The goal of the company ultimate goal is to develop a portfolio of projects of the highest quality and technical standards that yield probability for future production. We intend to accomplish our stated goals by adhering to the strictest standards of environmental and corporate compliance.
