LOS ANGELES, Nov. 18, 2011 /PRNewswire/ --As part of MLS Cup activities, Major League Soccer, Anheuser-Busch and The City of Bell Gardens will conduct a groundbreaking ceremony kicking off a soccer field renovation project at the renowned Bell Gardens Sports Complex on Saturday, November 19. The soccer field being renovated, newly named Cancha de Campeones (Champions Field), will positively impact local players, teams, and leagues that use the field for various soccer activities.

To celebrate the field renovation project, a soccer celebration will take place between 12pm - 3pm and is open to the public and FREE to attend. Event highlights include:
- Teams representing media (including on-air personalities) will play each other in 6v6 matches with each team winning a donation for the respective charities
- MLS players, including Pavel Pardo among others will be present to sign autographs and take pictures with fans
- The coveted MLS Cup will be showcased for fans to take a picture with before being awarded to the MLS champion on Sunday at the Home Depot Center
- The Futboleros will be onsite, showcasing their freestyle soccer and interacting with fans
- Music, giveaways and free food for attendees
The Bell Gardens Sports Complex, established in 2006 is one of the top soccer venues in Southern California featuring major grass-roots soccer programs as well as hosting top youth academies, tournaments and international teams on a yearly basis.
