Nevado Resources Assay Results Confirm Higher Grade Iron and Titanium From Surface Massive Oxides Mineralization on the La Blache Project

MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 12/13/11 -- NEVADO RESOURCES CORPORATION (TSX VENTURE: VDO) (FRANKFURT: BIZ) (the "Company" or "NEVADO") is pleased to release assay results from last summer's new surface prospecting discoveries on the La Blache #2 Claim Block from the Company's wholly-owned La Blache Iron-Titanium-Vanadium Project (the "Project"). The prospecting program, completed over a two-month period, found 18 new surface massive oxides lenses.

A total of 179 surface grab samples were taken from bedrock of massive oxides lenses distributed within 6 kilometric sized target ellipses or rings, some as sub-rings to the original 45 kilometres long La Blache Ring of Iron-Titanium-Vanadium and others associated with one new ring, the 16 kilometres long La Blache East Ring of Iron-Titanium-Vanadium. Average Iron and Titanium grades from the prospecting program are summarized in the following table(1):

(1) Vanadium assays are still pending.

(2) Surface grab samples averaging 1 kilogram each were taken by qualified personnel from NEVADO under the supervision of Jean Lafleur, M.Sc., P. Geo., the La Blache Property Project Manager. Samples were bagged, sealed and numbered on-site, and delivered to the ALS Laboratory Group facility in Val-d'Or (Quebec) for analysis using the ME-S81d Method. At the laboratory facility, samples were inventoried, weighed and dried; crushed 70% to under 2 millimetres; riffled split with a 250 gram sub-sample pulverized 85% to under 75 microns; then followed by analysis.

As expected, the Iron-Titanium-Vanadium grades are different from the released drill hole and field sample assay results from 2010 and 2011 for the massive and semi-massive to vein-type oxide. Grades in the massive oxides generally range in the 58% to 70% Fe2O3 and 17% to 22% TiO2. The higher grades are situated in the more massive oxides that are surrounded by anorthosites containing 5% to 25% disseminated and vein-type oxides ranging from a few metres to more than 100 m in core length which gave lower grades in the ranges of 15% to 45% Fe2O3 and 5% to 15% TiO2.

Each massive oxide occurrence is part of larger systems based on the topographic, lineament, geological and geophysical trends, ranging from 400 metres to 4,000 metres in potential length for the vertical lenses, and 700 metres to 3,000 metres in potential length and 50 metres to 900 metres in potential width. Vertical to sub-vertical dykes and large veins of massive oxides ranging from 5 metres to 400 metres in observed length and 3 metres to 7 metres wide. Horizontal to sub-horizontal lenses, sills and veins of massive oxides ranging from 3 metres to 750 metres in observed length, and 50 metres to 900 metres wide.
