VISUALS: | Thousands of underprivileged boys and girls will experience the true spirit and magic of Christmas and their eyes will light up with joy and smiles when they receive thousands of brand new toys from Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and hundreds of volunteer elves. For the majority of these kids, that toy and visit by Santa will be their only Christmas this year. Food bags full of nutritious, healthy and delicious food will also be given out to every mother |
A Spectacular Christmas show featuring Mickey and Minnie Mouse* singing Christmas Carols, courtesy of The Walt Disney Company and Santa and Mrs. Claus making a surprise visit. | |
The Los Angeles County Department of Public Social Services Mobile Unit will be on-site to conduct CalFresh (formerly known as Food Stamps) and Medi-Cal outreach to potentially eligible households/individuals. | |
Volunteer elves and donations with companies and organizations from all over the southland including: The Metropolitan Transportation Authority, The Walt Disney Company, the Teamsters Local 848, Ralph's Grocery, Toys for Tots, Deloitte & Touche and the Sikh Community of Los Angeles will help Santa play with the children and distribute gifts to them. Mission elves will also be giving fresh warm cookies and milk to every child. | |
