42nd Annual Symposium Facilitates Collaborative Electronic NetCentric Warfare
ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 29, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ --The AOC (Association of Old Crows) will hold the 42nd Collaborative Electronic Warfare Symposium January 24-26, 2012 in California. This symposium provides the opportunity to break down service barriers and to view collaborative Electronic Warfare (EW) from a joint force perspective, where intelligence, cyberspace, surveillance spectrum management and electronic attack will be discussed. The symposium will feature both unclassified and classified discussions. The unclassified portion will be on January 24th at the Ronald Regan Presidential Library. The classified portion will be at the Naval Base Ventura County, Pt Mugu, CA on both the 25th and 26th. One of the highlights of the symposium will be on Wednesday, January25, at the Camarillo Museum with the Salute toThe Warfighter Reception where the Commemorative Air Force aircraft is displayedfor all the attendees to see up close and personal.

Representing collaborative EW, this symposium will have speakers from the general officer ranks as well as operators from recent EW operations. Heading the discussions will be Vice Admiral Architzel, Commander of Naval Air Systems Command; Rear Admiral William E. Leigher, Director of Warfare Integrations for Information Dominance (OPNAV N2/N6F); Rear Admiral Mat Winter, Commander of Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD); and Lieutenant General David A. Deptula USAF (Ret.),Chief Executive Officer for MAV6, LLC. These keynote speakers, along with leaders in industry and the Department of Defense, will be presenting on a way forward in collaborative EW by identifying technical paths, options, and potential opportunities. Following the first day of the general sessions, a reception will take place underneath Air Force One in the library's museum. Industry, military, government and academia will all be in attendance to hear what our warriors are saying, to engage in discussions and present possible solutions, and to help program the future of CollaborativeElectronic Warfare.
AOC is a non-profit international Electronic Warfare/Information Operations (EW/IO) association which promotes electromagnetic spectrum operations and related activities across military, civilian and commercial applications.
