Dr. Hawes treats all aspects of adult urology and specializes in female urologic conditions including incontinence, pelvic prolapse, urinary tract infections and interstitial cystitis. She also focuses on kidney stone conditions and disease.
Dr. Hawes began practicing urology in 2004. Prior to joining Chesapeake Urology she was in private practice in Howard County, Md., from 2004 through 2011.
She is certified by the American Board of Urology.
Dr. Hawes graduated cum laude from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service with a B.S. degree in International Law, Politics and Economics. She received her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine where she also completed her general surgery internship and urology residency.
