SAN JOSE, Calif., Jan. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --The Santa Clara County Association of REALTORS® proudly announces industry veteran Barbara Lymberis to be its 2012 President.
Lymberis and husband Nick, both long-time REALTORS®, operate as the Perfect Harmony Properties Team at Kelly Williams Silicon Valley. She served as president-elect and vice president of SCCAOR before ascending to the presidency. She has been on the Board of Directors of the association and the Executive Committee since 2007. She served on a variety of committees, such as Finance, Government Relations, and Membership. She also chaired the Santa Clara County REALTORS® Foundation.
She is a Director of the California Association of REALTORS®, serving on its appointment-only Communications Advisory Committee. At the national level, she served on the Budget and Finance Committee and the Land Use and Environmental Committee of the Women's Council of REALTORS®.
Lymberis says her goal is for the association to better serve the needs of its members and provide leadership on real estate issues for the larger community.
"There will be some exciting developments at SCCAOR over the next 12 months and beyond," she said. "We are making extra efforts to give our members even more value, and offer them more tools and resources; we are also ready to help find solutions to the many important issues facing the real estate industry and consumers."
