HD Radio' Technology Continues Momentum with Additional Automakers Committed, More Vehicles and Increased Standardization

LAS VEGAS, Jan.11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --Consumer Electronics Show-- iBiquity Digital Corporation, the developer of digital HD Radio Technology for AM and FM audio and data broadcasting, today announced expanded support for HD Radio Technology from a wide array of leading automakers.

Several carmakers are using this week's Consumer Electronics Show to showcase their expanded commitment to all of the technologies in the digital dashboard including, HD Radio Technology. Audi, Bentley, BMW, Cadillac, Ford, Hyundai, Jaguar, Kia, Land Rover, Lexus, Lincoln, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mini, Porsche, Rolls Royce, Scion, Subaru, Tesla, Toyota, Volkswagen, and Volvo have all extended their commitments to the technology with new announcements, a mix of new vehicle launches, broader application, new services and even standardization.

Five new vehicles equipped with factory installed HD Radio receivers will be on display at the HD Radio booth at this week's CES Show (Central Hall #9033). Vehicles on display include the Hyundai Azera, 2013 Ford Taurus, Scion iQ, Toyota Camry and Kia Soul.

Bentley, BMW, Mini, Rolls Royce, Scion and Volvo all offer HD Radio Technology as standard equipment across their entire vehicle line-up. Other OEMs have committed to offering the technology as standard on specific models, including Audi, Cadillac Hyundai, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes and Volkswagen.
