Jan. 20, 2012
/PRNewswire/ -- With the forecast calling for multiple feet of snow in the Lake Tahoe area between Friday and Monday, Heavenly and Northstar are preparing for the most significant storm to hit the region this season. Thanks to the snowmaking crews at both Vail Resorts-owned resorts, Heavenly and Northstar have been able to open a combined 38 lifts, 59 trails and more than 30 miles of terrain so far this season. The anticipated snowfall will only increase a snow base that is already 18-24" and improve on the best conditions in Tahoe.
