TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 01/21/12 -- AIESEC Canada Inc. has partnered with the Syntegrity Group to solve a problem that could threaten Canada's future as a global leader: the impending leadership gap.
As the baby-boomers prepare to retire, the need for young leaders will increase. Syntegrity Group wanted to understand what Canada can do better to develop the types of leaders we will need in the future. How can Canada develop the most competent leaders? How can we strengthen young leaders within our country and outside of it? In order to get the full picture, the Syntegrity Group partnered with AIESEC Canada and their membership of 2,500 students across the country.
From Friday January 20 to Sunday January 22, 2012, the Syntegrity Group and a cross-section of 28 AIESEC members from multiple Universities across the country, will meet in Toronto. The goal is to end the Syntegration weekend with insights on what Canada should focus on to develop young leaders for our future.
For over 50 years, AIESEC Canada has been facilitating a global internship program that connects Canadian companies with a global network of students and recent grads. Through its experiential learning program, AIESEC is developing the next generation of global leaders. AIESEC Canada is one part of the world's largest student-run organization.
