After a very successful 2011, Sheridan House Family Ministries has announced three fantastic fundraising events that will occur in the first quarter of 2012. The general public is invited to the outings, which will be entertaining, and will raise money for kids and families that need help in South Florida.
The event lineup is:
Saturday, February 4, 2012 @ 9am |
"Family Values 5K" |
Starts at Sheridan House at 1700 S. Flamingo Road in Davie, FL |
Friends and families put on their running shoes and pound the pavement for the Family Values 5k. This event has proven to be a great way for anyone to come out and show their support for Sheridan House. It is not a typical 5k because the focus is truly on fun for everyone involved – participants, volunteers, and spectators. Join us in Stepping Out For Children and Families.  |

Amy Evans, Communications & Event Specialist at Sheridan House adds, "Our organization is thankful for everyone who comes out to our events, and we hope that everyone has a good time. The best part is that it is all for a good cause."
For over 40 years, Sheridan House has been a life-changing blessing for millions of kids and families by providing counseling, financial assistance, shelter, therapy and more. Since its early years, Sheridan House has chosen not to receive government funding, believing that the community which we serve will provide the needed support. Sheridan House is thankful to be 100% supported by individual, corporate, foundation, and church donations. Sheridan House – Training Tomorrow's Leaders.
