PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 11, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ --About 600 activists from across Pennsylvania will march today from their Keystone Progress conference in the Philadelphia Convention Center to Gov. Tom Corbett's office at 200 South Broad St. to question his lack of action to get answers from Sunoco and ConocoPhillips for their announced shutdown of three oil refineries that will affect heating oil and auto fuel supplies across the state.

A short sidewalk press conference will be held at 12:30 pm, ET, outside of the Gov.'s office.
The refinery shutdowns in nearby Trainer, Marcus Hook and in Philadelphia will devastate the families of 2,500 workers employed at the refineries, and will affect communities in Delaware County.
The three refineries produce heating oil, diesel, jet and auto fuels -- processing more than 700,000 barrels a day of oil, or about 46 percent of the Northeast region's refining capacity. About one million Pennsylvanians use heating oil.
Marchers will depart the convention center at 1101 Arch St., and walk south down N. Juniper, around East Penn Square and down South Broad St. to the Governor's office at 200 S. Broad St.
