Morris previously served as vice president of Human Resources for DeVry Inc., a position she had held for the past year. Before joining DeVry, she served as director of Human Resources Operations for ComEd and earlier served as director of Human Resources for Exelon Generation, a unit of Exelon Corp. Morris began her career with Exelon in 2002 as a manager of Human Resources at LaSalle Nuclear Power Station.

"Development of our people -- our human capital -- is one of our key business priorities and we are happy to have an executive of Tracie's caliber leading this work," said Pramaggiore, who will become ComEd's president and CEO on March 1. "She has a vast amount of experience with ComEd as well as knowledge about our business and will play a vital role in our efforts to move the company forward."

Prior to joining Exelon, Morris was a director of Human Resources for Ameritech Corp, and began her career at the U.S. Department of Labor and Department of Justice.

Morris holds a bachelor's degree in organizational communications from North Central College and a master's degree in management and organizational behaviors from Benedictine University.

Commonwealth Edison Company (ComEd) is a unit of Chicago-based Exelon Corporation (NYSE: EXC), one of the nation's largest electric utilities with approximately 5.4 million customers. ComEd provides service to approximately 3.8 million customers across northern Illinois, or 70 percent of the state's population.
