SEEBURGER Targets SMB Channel Partners Specializing in SAP Services

ATLANTA, Feb. 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- SEEBURGER today announced a partner program expansion enabling channel partners serving mid-market SAP shops to offer a variety of business-to-business integration solutions that enhance the value of their SAP deployments. SEEBURGER solutions for trading partner communications, file sharing, automated order-to-cash processing and other business processes seamlessly integrate with SAP through a 20-year partnership, helping drive incremental revenues for VARs and system integrators with SAP practices.

The SEEBURGER Business Integration Suite (BIS) provides a central platform and data hub for configuring, executing and managing multiple B2B processes, eliminating the need for point solutions that add deployment and management overhead. The BIS suite includes the SEEBURGER B2B Gateway, which automates trading partner communications; SEEBURGER Managed File Transfer (SEE MFT), a multiple-award-winning set of solutions providing secure and auditable exchange of sensitive and/or large files that exceed email attachment limitations; application integration capabilities to enable seamless data exchange across applications; and SAP solution extensions that provide fully automated order-to-cash, SCM monitoring and related functions enabling benefits such as faster time to revenue.

The suite is used by both mid-sized and enterprise customers around the world to achieve maximum B2B integration and thereby optimize business operations. Tight integration of all components with SAP enables value-added benefits such as seamless transaction message generation, validation and tracking for supply chain communications; secure internal and external file sharing for scenarios such as moving master data from one SAP instance to another; end-to-end automation of order-to-cash processes from order entry and verification to delivery, invoicing and receipt of payment; and more.

Specific advantages for mid-market customers include:

  • A single platform that can manage multiple business integration and file sharing functions, simplifying the IT infrastructure by eliminating disparate point solutions.
  • Pre-configured packaged solutions for specific industries as well as a large library of pre-built components, reducing deployment time and expense.
  • A WebEDI option that makes it possible to exchange purchase orders and other transaction messages electronically with customers or suppliers without an in-house EDI infrastructure.
  • One consolidated view of both structured and unstructured data exchange activity, streamlining administration and increasing visibility for governance and regulatory compliance.
  • A modular approach that grows with the organization's needs, making it possible to add new components as required rather than having to buy new solutions as old ones are outgrown.
  • Cloud, managed services or on-premise deployment options, along with rapid implementation and fast return on investment.

All SEEBURGER business with companies generating revenues of less than $500 million annually is delivered through partners, eliminating channel conflict and driving major revenue opportunities for VARs and system integrators serving the SMB market. SEEBURGER offers a comprehensive set of partner resources that was significantly expanded and upgraded in 2011, including a dedicated channel and alliance team, pre-sales and consulting support, sales and technical training, marketing campaigns and new partner portal.

"Like larger organizations, small and mid-sized companies that have deployed SAP want to maximize the value of their investment. Our BIS suite enables them to do that by providing seamless EDI connectivity to meet customer demands, electronic data exchange with smaller trading partners without EDI systems, SAP add-ons that automate and optimize order-to-cash and supply chain monitoring processes, and much more," said Rohit Khanna, Executive Vice President, Global Channel & Alliances at SEEBURGER. "This is an opportunity for channel partners to increase business from their existing customers as well as new prospects who have built their IT infrastructure around SAP."
