Nevado Resources Releases Farrell-Taylor Assay Results From the Q3-Q4/2011 Helicopter-Supported Diamond Drilling Campaign at the La Blache Iron-Titanium-Vanadium Project

MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 03/01/12 -- NEVADO RESOURCES CORPORATION (TSX VENTURE: VDO)(FRANKFURT: NSV) (the "Company" or "NEVADO") is pleased to announce new assay results from the Q3-Q4/2011 helicopter-supported diamond drilling campaign at the Company's wholly-owned La Blache Iron-Titanium-Vanadium Project (the "Project"). The drilling campaign totalled 12,603 metres in 36 drill holes covering 6 occurrences: Farrell-Taylor, Farrell-Mason, Leduc-Farrell, Hervieux East Extension, E. Girard and La Blache West-N. Tarbouche occurrences. Interval assay results are now available for the Farrell-Taylor Occurrence.

Farrell-Taylor Occurrence Assay Results

NEVADO drilled 6,843 metres in 13 holes at the eastern end of the 1,500 metres long, 550 metres wide and 115 metres high occurrence. NEVADO had already drilled 9,618 metres in 32 holes along the western segment of the occurrence during the winter 2010-2011 drilling campaign. The objective was to delineate the oxide mineralization along the remaining 500 metres of projected depth extension of the occurrence as outlined by the geophysical model.

Interval assay results from drill holes FT-11-01 to 13 are summarized in the following table:

Notes:
(1) Core lengths in metres of massive oxides.
(2) V2O5 assay results reported here used the ME-MS61 preparation (4-acid
digestion) and assay method.
(3) Wider intervals include disseminated (greater than 10%), vein and semi-
massive oxides mineralization surrounding the massive oxides.
(4) It consists of two intervals of 4.1 and 3.5 metres within a wider
interval of disseminated, vein and semi-massive oxides mineralization.
n/a - not present or drilled above the oxide mineralization.

Mr. Michael Curtis, NEVADO's President and CEO, stated "The current and previous drilling was successful in delineating the full extent of the massive and disseminated oxides mineralization at Farrell-Taylor, which can now be confirmed as an east-southeast shallow plunging mineralized lens, from near surface to -500 metres vertical depth, having a 1.5 km strike length, a 300-500 metres width, and averaging more than 100 metres in height. On the basis of these very encouraging results, the next phase will be to complete, by the end of the second quarter of 2012, a NI 43-101 mineral resource estimate of the entire massive and disseminated Iron, Titanium and Vanadium oxides mineralization."

Nevado anticipates the remaining assays to be compiled and announced in the next 10 days.
