CAMBRIDGE, MA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/06/12 -- HiveFire, Inc., an online content marketing technology company, today announced that senior software engineer, Jack Diederich, will lead an informative session at this year's PyCon, the premier conference for Python programming language enthusiasts. Diederich will be offering his expertise in open-source Python, the primary language used in developing HiveFire's content curation platform, Curata. It is the sixth time he has spoken at the annual event.
As a core Python developer and active member of the Python Software Foundation, Diederich will share his extensive knowledge to help others navigate the complexities of the language, in order to effectively integrate systems and deliver quick results. Diederich has worked closely with the entire HiveFire engineering team, led by CEO Pawan Deshpande, to use Python in developing cutting edge, content curation software that allows users to easily find, organize and share content online, through an intuitive interface.
"The HiveFire engineering team's goal is to minimize code as much as possible to allow for faster development," said Diederich. "Python travels light and the open source dynamic allows our team to be creative and quickly turn ideas to reality in our product. The whole team will be attending this year's PyCon and I'm happy to be able to offer my expertise at a session."
PyCon 2012 will take place March 9-11 in Santa Clara, California, bringing together a diverse group of developers, enthusiasts and organizations to explore new challenges, launch new business and forge new connections. Diederich's session, "Stop Writing Classes," will take place on March 9th from 12:10 p.m. to 12:40 p.m. PT.
"Employing top-ranked engineers is imperative to HiveFire's success," said CEO Pawan Deshpande. "We are grateful for such a talented engineering team and Jack's extensive background with Python is surely an asset. We look forward to bringing back best practices from the event to further improve Curata."
