CORONA DEL MAR, Calif., April 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --ActionView International, Inc. (OTC: AVEW) today announced the fight card for WCFC's second annual Pierpont Street Bash to be held June 30, 2012 in Salt Lake City.In the professional division, Greg Carpenter (4-8) will face Francisco Alcantara (5-6), fighting in the 170lb. weight class. Fight at 155 pounds, Jeremy Sullivan (2-1) will fight Darrell Flores (1-0). The event will also feature an 8-man, amateur Last Man Standing tournament at 155 pounds designed to find the best amateur fighter in the Rocky Mountains.
Francisco Alcantara, is 5-1 in his last six fights, showing that as he gains more confidence in the cage he is beginning to dominate his weight class. Darrell Flores, while still a new pro, amassed an undefeated 12-0 record as an amateur. Having never lost a fight in the cage, he is an exciting fighter with amazing speed and athleticism. Joe Wooten, CEO and President of ActionView, added, "Darrell made his pro debut with WCFC and we've been trying to get him back on a card ever since. His ground game is amazing but his stand up is also incredible. He took some time off to start a family, so we couldn't be happier about getting him back."

Be it the allure of a pay check or a manager wanting to get their cut, we've just seen too many guys go pro and then rack up a lot of early losses because they just didn't have the cage experience. The tournament style is perfect for amateurs because they get exposed to several fighters in one night while also getting the feel of being in the cage in front of a huge crowd. Amateurs need to know where they stand against their peers before making the leap to the professional ranks-and this is probably the best format for that experience."
The Pierpont Street Bash will take place starting at noon on June 30th on Pierpont Street in Salt Lake City. Tickets will be available online at www.wcfc.com and the mixed martial arts portion of the show will be broadcast live online on a pay-per-view basis.
