LOS ANGELES - Brand USA will reveal the creative elements and energy that drive America's first comprehensive marketing campaign to lure international visitors at a press conference conducted in conjunction with one of the country's largest travel shows.

The new global brand will be presented during 44th Annual International Pow Wow in Los Angeles and showcases the limitless range of destinations and experiences the United States has to offer and spreads the message that everyone is welcome.
Brand USA will reveal elements of the fully integrated campaign, which includes television, signage, digital, mobile, print and social media. The first wave of the campaign will launch May 1, 2012, in Canada, Japan and the United Kingdom. A second wave will follow in Brazil and South Korea, with several other markets to follow.
The marketing program is the result of the Travel Promotion Act, federal legislation passed in March 2010 which formulated the creation of a public-private partnership between the travel industry and the U.S. government, now doing business as Brand USA. The partnership has been charged with increasing international visitation to the U.S. through marketing and promotional efforts to drive job creation and economic growth.
