About the Lawsuit
Delta Petroleum, and certain of its senior executives are charged with issuing a series of materially false and misleading statements, during the Class Period, in violation of federal securities laws.
On November 10, 2011, Delta stock collapsed 65%, to $0.71 per share, after the Company revealed a massive loss in the third quarter 2011 – of ($15.40) per share – and after Delta further warned that it might be forced to file bankruptcy if it was unsuccessful in achieving a transaction addressing the Company's liquidity.
