Andretti, who was at the store opening to greet fans and sign autographs, is often referred to as the greatest race car driver of all time and his partnership with the Firestone brand spans four decades. Firestone Complete Auto Care also presented a donation to the Black Mountain Senior Nutrition Program and the Green Valley High School Choir. The grand opening event began on Friday, April 27, with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Andretti was joined by BSRO Western Zone New Store Expansion Coordinator Kevin Boyer, BSRO West Zone Vice President Dick Clark, Firestone Las Vegas District Manager Carl Gerhard, Store Manager Nelson Diaz, Anita Grant of the Black Mountain Senior Nutrition Program and Kimberly B. Ritzer, Director of the Green Valley High School Choir.

The Ribbon Cutting ceremony was just the beginning of a 3 day extravaganza running through Sunday, April 29th. It will feature prizes, giveaways, free lunch each day, refreshments, face painting and for the kids a bounce-house. Radio remotes are also part of the excitement featuring "92.3 The Rock Station KOMP" Friday 10am-12pm and "KXPT The Point 97.1" Saturday 12pm- 2 pm.
