"We are extremely excited to be opening," said franchise owner Blake Turner, who will run this location with his father Paul and his older brothers Troy and Trent. "We feel that this is a strong area that has a great mix of residential and business communities."
Turner was born and raised in Utah. He graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in accounting.
"I have a restaurant background and was looking for a concept that was new and up and coming -- Dickey's is unique," said Turner. "There aren't very many casual dining barbecue places in the area, plus Dickey's food is amazing."
The new store is located at 7742 Campus View Drive, Building B in Jordan Landing.
