Intelligent materials handling supplier grabs #17 slot for the second straight year
Wynright Corporation, a leading independent, U.S.-based provider of intelligent material handling systems, announced today that it has once again been named to Modern Materials Handling's list of the Top 20 Worldwide Materials Handling Systems Suppliers. This marks the second consecutive year that Wynright has captured the #17 slot in the 15th annual roundup of the top providers of complete material handling systems.
Wynright experienced its best year in terms of sales and revenue in the company's 40-year history in 2011. One of the major contributors was its robotics systems sales, which saw an increase of 125 percent over 2010. It also benefited from an increase in organic growth stemming from repeat business with major corporations, but the uptick in supply chain /distribution center investments after the economic downturn in 2008 and 2009 brought considerably more large system projects.

To qualify for Modern Materials Handling's Top 20 list, companies must be suppliers of full scale systems, not just equipment providers. In addition to manufacturing at least two major material handling components, a company must also employ full-time staff that designs, installs and integrates the systems.
