ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., May 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --On Saturday, May 12, 2012, teams from around the Southwest will take part in the 3rd annual Kickball 4 The Kids (K4TK) kickball tournament presented by CenturyLink. "We're expecting some of the top 10 kickball teams in the country to attend, including teams from Texas, Arizona, California, Colorado and New Mexico," said Matt Kemph, founder of Kickball365.
K4TK features pool play for all registered teams. Following pool play, teams will compete in either the competitive or recreational tournament.
Commentating on the event, Tournament Manager, Drew Johnson said, "This year's tournament will have over 600 people playing and all of the proceeds will benefit Playworks NM and the For The Kids Fund."
"Our goal is to support the children across New Mexico," says Johnson. "The Kickball 4 The Kids tournament is a new and exciting way to get people involved. We look forward to seeing this event be a total success."
