Vivint™, the leading home automation services provider in North America, will be featured on "Designing Spaces" for a third time on Friday, May 18, at 7:30 a.m. (EDT) on Lifetime Television.
"Designing Spaces" is a home improvement television series that travels the country redefining and redesigning spaces in creative and ingenious ways. The series gives practical advice on improving all aspects of your home, including lifestyle changes like home automation.
The episode features Shawn Brenchley, Vivint's senior vice president, and Vivint customer Deena Pyle. Together, they show how installing a home automation system not only protects families, but also increases energy efficiency and simplifies life. It's an affordable solution to upgrade the IQ of any home.
The show specifically features Pyle using a Vivint smart phone application to remotely control lighting, appliances, door locks and video from home security cameras, allowing her to keep an eye on her children while she is at work or running errands. Pyle also highlights the money-saving aspects of using her energy management system to control her thermostat remotely.
"We are saving between $50 and $74 a month on our electricity bill since installing our Vivint home automation system," Pyle said. "And the system was specifically tailored to meet our family's needs and specific budget."
Vivint is proud to be a part of "Designing Spaces" and its effort to provide home improvement solutions, inspiring consumers to integrate smart technologies and improve the spaces they live in.
"Vivint's mission is straightforward," said Brenchley. "It's to simplify lives, increase energy efficiency and to protect families. And being a part of 'Designing Spaces' is a great way for us to teach homeowners how they can implement these technologies in their homes without breaking the bank."
