SAO PAULO, May 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes S.A. (BM&FBovespa: GOLL4 e NYSE: GOL), (S&P: B+, Fitch: B+, Moody's: B3), the largest low-fare, low-cost airline in Latin America, announces that it has signed a new long-term Interline agreement with Passaredo Linhas Aereas, thereby providing their clients with even more benefits. The agreement also envisages exclusivity in regional operations.
"With this new agreement, the regional network will be developed and operated by Passaredo, which will operate in medium and low-density markets, connected to routes operated by GOL," declared Constantino de Oliveira Junior, GOL's CEO. "Our route network will be improved by ensuring better connectivity, making trips more convenient for passengers."
The Interline agreement will allow GOL to offer its clients the option of flying to such destinations as Araguaina, Alta Floresta, Pampulha (BHZ), Barreiras, Carajas, Ji-Parana, Juazeiro do Norte, Londrina, Cascavel, Ribeirao Preto, Rondonopolis, Vitoria da Conquista, Sao Jose do Rio Preto, Sinop and Uberlandia. Passengers transferring from GOL to Passaredo flights will only have to check in once for their baggage to be dispatched to its final destination.
