Choice Hotels Choice Privileges Rewards Program Celebrates 15 Million Members

SILVER SPRING, Md., May 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The award-winning Choice Privileges rewards program from global lodging powerhouse Choice Hotels International, Inc. (NYSE: CHH), franchisor of such well-known hotel brands as Comfort Inn, Quality, and Cambria Suites, recently celebrated a significant milestone as it welcomed its 15-millionth member. In recognition of hitting this mark, the Choice Privileges program has decided to award its lucky milestone member with 115,000 bonus rewards points in addition to sponsoring a $15,000 donation to Rebuilding Together, the Signature Cause Partner of Choice Hotels.

Choice Privileges is one of the industry's fastest growing rewards program, having tripled its membership in just over five years. The 15-millionth member that will receive the 115,000 bonus points resides in Danville, IL.

In celebration of its 15-millionth member milestone, the rewards program has also announced a generous donation of $15,000 to Rebuilding Together, its company's Signature Cause Partner. For 20 years, Rebuilding Together has rehabilitated homes for the most vulnerable of our population - the low-income elderly, disabled veterans, and families with children - all at no cost to the homeowners. Rebuilding Together is part of the Room to Rebuild corporate social responsibility program at Choice Hotels, which has resulted in more than 50 community-based projects across the country to date, with more than 4,600 total volunteer hours.

Launched in 1998, Choice Privileges offers free membership for travelers to earn points good towards free nights, airline miles, gift cards and more, even charitable giving, while staying at more than 5,500 Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Quality, Sleep Inn, Clarion, Cambria Suites, MainStay Suites, Suburban Extended Stay Hotel, Econo Lodge and Rodeway Inn brand hotels as well as Ascend Collection member hotels.
