Opportunity to Drive a Big Rig through an Obstacle Course
Summary:A kick off event for the 48th Annual Colorado Truck Driving Championships will be held on Friday, June 1st. Reporters will have the opportunity to get behind the wheel of a big rig and experience first hand what skills are needed to navigate a truck driving championship style obstacle course. America's Road Team Captains, elite professional drivers with millions of accident free miles, will accompany reporters in the cab to assist with driving technique.

CMCA TDC: Hosted by the Colorado Motor Carriers and its Safety Management Council, 130 of the state's best truck drivers, with a total of 90 million accident-free miles, will compete on Saturday, June 2nd to earn the title of State Truck Driving Champion, and with it, the right to compete at the National Truck Driving Championships. The event begins at 7 a.m. and will be held at Adams County Fair Grounds.
The Colorado Motor Carriers Association (CMCA) is the State Trucking Association in Colorado. It represents State motor carriers and provides services for member companies.
