Seneffe, 11 June 2012 - Today Susanne Becker and Dr. Michael Friebe were elected as new Members to the Eckert & Ziegler BEBIG Board of Directors at its Annual Shareholders' Meeting. They are replacing outgoing members Holger Bürk, Hans-Jörg Hinke, Dick Schoolenberg und Edwin Vandermeulen as the size of the Board of Directors is being reduced to eight members.
Susanne Becker is an attorney and works as an advisor in the Labor Market Division of the Confederation of German Employers' Associations in Berlin (BDA).
Dr. Friebe is Managing Director of m2f investment, a venture capital company for start-ups in the life sciences sector, as well as id+tm, a consulting company that specializes in medical technology. For almost 20 years in his capacity as founder and investor, he has started numerous companies in the field of medical imaging. In addition, Dr. Friebe is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of SurgicEye GmbH and an Advisory Board Member of Curefab GmbH in Munich, as well as a lecturer at the Technical University Munich.
