CAPE PAC's Latest Advertisement Focuses on Gov. Romney's Olympic Experience
WASHINGTON, July 12, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Coalition of Americans for Political Equality PAC released a new episode in their ad series called "Fact vs. Fiction" which is airing in select markets through July 2012.

The ad targets voters in swing states who are struggling because of a poor economy and record unemployment. Under President Obama, the unemployment rate has remained extremely high.
CAPE PAC launched the ad to educate voters on Gov. Romney's success with the 2002 Olympics. The Salt Lake City games were in deep financial trouble. Gov. Romney was asked to become President and CEO of the games and help turn it around. Gov. Romney ended up turning what was a large deficit into a surplus, and the 2002 Olympics became one of the most successful Olympiads in history, setting broadcasting and marketing records.
Comparatively, in 2009, President Obama aimed to bring the games to his hometown of Chicago for 2016 Olympics. The results were less than exciting, with the President failing to close a deal.
