The contest, which is open to the public, starts today, July 23, 2012, and will run until October 12, 2012, and seeks contestants that want or need new appliance(s) to submit videos on various themes and topics for public judging. The grand prize is a complete top of the line, luxurious stainless steel Whirlpool kitchen set (refrigerator, range and dishwasher) for the overall best video based on votes. All videos must be submitted by September 28, 2012, will be judged by the public and winners will be determined by the number of votes they receive for their submission on the www.everyappliancepart.com website.
In addition to the grand prize, Every Appliance Part will also be presenting 10 individual prizes of new, high end and efficient appliances to category winners, which include:
- Most creative video/weirdest video;
- Most uniqueuse for an appliance video;
- Best song and dance video;
- Best superhero themed video;
- Most creative way to keep an appliance working video; and
- Five of the best videos explaining why the contestant needs a new laundry appliance.

Contestants are welcome to submit as many digital formatted videos as they wish in any of the categories. Contestants can submit their video by uploading it by visiting contest.everyappliancepart.com, which will provide easy to follow instructions on how to upload a video. Videos must be within the time limits of no less than 30 seconds and not exceeding three minutes.
