Jeremy Chadwick Joins Comparethemarket.Com as Commercial Director

LONDON, July 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --

comparethemarket.com has announced the appointment of Jeremy Chadwick to the key role of Commercial Director. Jeremy will be responsible for commercial strategy and development, covering all product categories within the company, including insurance and money. Reporting directly in to Jeremy will be the Directors leading General Insurance, Non-core insurance and Money, along with the Senior Manager of Customer Operations.

The new appointment is intended to maintain comparethemarket.com's core focus on its customer. A significant part of the role involves ensuring that the brands on the comparison panel deliver for customers, making it even easier for them to find cheaper deals on their insurance and household bills. Jeremy will be working closely with our partners to get the best deals available for our customers and ensure that the panel continues to develop.

Jeremy joins comparethemarket.com from Zurich Insurance plc, where he was Head of Accident and Health for Europe. In his two years at Zurich, Jeremy led pan-European underwriting, operational and distribution functions for his line of business. Previously he has held senior leadership roles at Aegon, simplyhealth and Barclays Insurance.
