ID Media Named a "Best Place to Work" By the Los Angeles Business Journal

NEW YORK, Aug. 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- ID Media, an Interpublic Group media agency, has been named a "Best Place to Work" by the Los Angeles Business Journal.

The Journal revealed this year's winners during a ceremony held at the JW Marriott L.A. Live in Los Angeles on August 16. The awards program, now in its sixth year, recognizes many of Los Angeles County's best employers.

In its congratulatory announcement, the Journal revealed many of the factors that resulted in ID Media's win. Generous time off (including summer days), fun events (such as "Cupcake Wars") and a collaborative, friendly workplace culture were among the many factors that made ID Media Los Angeles a great place to work, per feedback provided from employees via an anonymous survey.

The Journal, in partnership with Best Companies Group, selected this year's winners based on the results of a weighted survey comprised of both employee as well as employer feedback. Employees evaluated the company in areas such as salaries, benefits and perks, as well as company leadership, planning, corporate culture, communications and role satisfaction.

The win attests to ID Media's commitment to employee satisfaction and workforce excellence. With offices in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago, the agency has been honored with numerous workplace accolades. Its New York office is a four-time winner of Crain's "Best Places to Work in New York City" award. Interpublic's Multicultural Resource Group also honored ID Media with its fifth MERGE award for the agency's commitment to diversity and inclusion last month. (ID Media's workforce is two-thirds women and 40 percent people of color.)

Says ID Media CEO Lynn Fantom of the win: "Ten years ago, ID Media began its footprint on the West Coast. Today, our LA office-under the leadership of EVP, Managing Director Amy Armstrong Roxas-is pulsing with a strong client roster and relationships with leading Silicon Valley companies. At the heart of these successes is our people, and we truly believe that it is their talents, commitment and diversity that enable us to propel the business forward."

Added EVP, Managing Director Amy Armstrong Roxas: "At the end of the day, people are what our clients hire our services for, and happy employees make for a more productive and collaborative team. Thanks you to the ID Media Los Angeles team for making our office a great place to come to work every day!"

This year's winners spanned companies across a range of industries, including finance, healthcare, technology, advertising/marketing/PR and hospitality. Sister IPG agency Golin Harris and ID Media client Intuit were also among this year's winners.
