CHARLOTTE, Sept. 2, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ --Wrapping up a weekend of pre-convention events, theCollege Democrats of America (CDA) convened young leaders from the DNC Youth Council, Young Democrats of America, Black Youth Vote, IMPACT, and Duke University at a press conference today.Young people gathered for trainings, caucus meetings, and networking events from Friday, August 31 - Sunday, September2 ahead of the 2012 Democratic National Convention, highlighting the importance of young people in this year's convention.
"Youth have so much at stake in this election, and the student vote will make all the difference," said CDA President Alejandra Salinas. "By giving College Democrats a voice at the Democratic National Convention, the party and the President are showing their commitment to young people and the future of our great nation."
