MERRILLVILLE, Ind., Sept. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --White Lodging Services is pleased to announce Ashley Clark has been promoted to general manager of the Residence Inn by Marriott in Fishers, Indiana.

Previously, Clark was the cluster director of sales of the SpringHill Suites and Residence Inn by Marriott in Indianapolis/Carmel, Indiana. Under her sales leadership, the Residence Inn was awarded the Excalibur Award in the first quarter of the year for the first time since 2005.
"[Goals for my new role are to] increase market share performance, produce high guest satisfaction through our mission to be the cleanest and friendliest and reenergize the team through successful White Lodging Way implementation," Clark said.
With additional roles at multiple Midway Hotel Center properties, Clark has gained more than seven years of experience with White Lodging in the areas of sales, operations, food & beverage and front office.

Clark's success in the hospitality industry can be traced back to her studies as a Hospitality and Tourism Management student at Purdue University Calumet. There she was awarded the Wanda Dudzik Memorial Scholarship and the White Lodging Scholarship, a scholarship awarded to outstanding hospitality students.
