Peter Kim Joins R/GA As Managing Director Of Business Transformation Capability

NEW YORK, Sept. 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- R/GA, The Agency for the Digital Age®, is pleased to announce the arrival of Peter Kim who joins the agency as vice president, managing director, business transformation. In this role, Kim will focus on advising clients on streamlining and organizing social media programs and strategies. Along with Chris Stutzman, managing director, business transformation and Jeff Mancini, vice president, product innovation, Peter will help broaden R/GA's ability to consult with C-level executives on strategy issues focusing on Social Business within the newly established business transformation capability. He will report to Barry Wacksman, EVP, chief growth officer.

Kim joins R/GA from the Dachis Group, where he served as the chief strategy officer, building one of the world's first social business advisory firms into a multi-million dollar consulting practice. He initiated over a dozen new client relationships for the firm, delivering strategy, organization restructuring, and process design. Kim was also responsible for Dachis Group's thought leadership initiatives, including co-authoring the book Social Business By Design, creating the Social Business Journal and producing a successful worldwide multi-year Social Business Summit series.

Throughout his career, Kim has worked with cross-category clients spanning consumer products, financial services, healthcare, technology, retail and travel sectors including The Coca-Cola Company, Citibank, L'Oreal, BMW/MINI, Forbes, Merrill Lynch, Twitter, Best Buy, and PUMA AG. Prior to Dachis, Kim worked at Forrester Research focusing on marketing leadership professionals, and as a respected leading analyst, he wrote extensively on a variety of topics covering marketing strategy, social media, advertising and agencies, and mobile marketing. His research piece "Reinventing the Marketing Organization" helped chief marketers refocus on customer centricity and prepare for a new era in marketing.
