"Every driver of an electric vehicle should be able to charge his vehicle through a standardized, nationwide charging system and then pay the for charge via his personal domestic energy account," explained Martin Kristek, CEO of Care Energy and Care-Load (trademarks of the mk-group Holding GmbH, Hamburg) at the ceremony where the Clean Tech Media Award 2012 in the mobility category was awarded to his company. "The prize for our innovative and logical approach motivates us to plan the expansion of the charging points system in the coming months and to continue to implement it." Electric mobility should not only be cheaper, but also much more convenient", the entrepreneur continued. "Our charging station concept will make an important contribution toward ensuring that electric vehicles comprise a significant share of the road traffic, and this can only be achieved if the charging stations are available free of investment, and freely accessible to every energy provider as well as all customers."

Kristek thanked Care-Energy employees for their successful efforts to complete the project. "Infrastructure projects in particular require enthusiasm and perseverance. With this project, we have shown what medium sized companies are able to develop and implement when everyone is motivated and believe in the project. Care-Energy conjures up energy not only in the home but in future, on the streets as well."
