Martin Kristek, CEO of Care-Energy, Advises Bulgarian Government on Energy Market Liberalisation

HAMBURG, Germany, September 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --

Martin Kristek: "We will design a modern, sustainable and ecological energy market for Bulgaria"

"The Bulgarian energy market will be completely redesigned with ideas and know-how from Hamburg. Following talks with Evgenia Haritonova, Deputy Minister of Economy, Energy and Tourism, I look forward to this great challenge," said Martin Kristek, CEO of mk-group Holding GmbH ("Care-Energy") at the occasion of the confirmation of the results of negotiations with the Bulgarian Ministry. "A secure, sustainable and affordable energy supply is a basic human need and basic right. A country with low average income compared to other European countries, we will pay particular attention in Bulgaria on the social component. It is not just a question of improving considerably the infrastructure of the country, but also enabling low-income households to make sustainable savings through energy efficiency. Energy services through contracting can give rise in Bulgaria to major social and ecological progress."

Martin Kristek announced, for the implementation of the agreed reforms of the Bulgarian energy market to be proposed by him, the creation of a Care-Energy branch in Sofia, Bulgaria. "We look forward to working closely with the Bulgarian Government and the local authorities. We will advise them in all areas of energy and waste management. The production and distribution of energy and energy efficiency in Bulgaria must be quickly raised to a European standard and beyond. To ensure a close, ongoing dialogue with the authorities on all these issues, we will set up a local subsidiary, which will support the already existing partnerships. Our commitment as an internationally operating, medium-sized energy services provider must be clearly visible, directly and locally."
