(AAM) will display its product lineup at the 11th International CTI Innovative Automotive Transmissions, Hybrid & Electric Drives Symposium and Expo. The event will be held at the Maritim Hotel in Berlin, Germany, from December 3-6, 2012. This year's symposium will focus on the overall development of conventional, hybrid and electric drives, state-of-the-art technologies and will take a glimpse into the future.

Visit Booth #136 to learn more about AAM's:

  • EcoTrac(TM) all-wheel-drive (AWD) systems

  • Electric all-wheel-drive (eAWD) technology by e-AAM Driveline Systems AB (e-AAM), an AAM subsidiary

  • Other products including TracRite® traction enhancing differentials, power transfer units and rear drive modules

AAM's EcoTrac(TM) AWD System enables a vehicle manufacturer to offer a crossover vehicle with an AWD option, optimizing fuel economy and reducing emissions, while maintaining enhanced vehicle control and efficiency.  e-AAM's eAWD system is an advanced, compact electric all-wheel-drive system that requires minimal vehicle architecture modifications while providing fuel efficiency gains and improved stability and handling.  e-AAM's portfolio includes technology for micro hybrid, hybrid, plug-in hybrid and electric vehicles.

"We are delighted to showcase our latest and future driveline and drivetrain technology at the CTI Transmission Expo and further reinforce AAM's commitment to technology leadership," said Steven J. Proctor, President AAM Europe.
