Navantis Brings Next-Generation Office 365 for Small and Midsize Businesses to the SMB Market

TORONTO, Feb. 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Navantis today announced that it is reselling the next-generation Office 365 service, Microsoft Corp.'s most complete Office cloud service to date, for small and midsize businesses.

Over the last 12 months the momentum around Office 365 has been incredible as more and more clients begin to understand the value of cloud based productivity - across tablet, PC or phone - wherever they are and whenever they need to get work done, says Adis Tucakovic, Vice President of Advanced Infrastructure at Navantis Inc."As a leading Systems Integrator Navantis has always been focused on delivering business outcomes to our clients and our ability to bundle our value added services along cloud base productivity tools allows us to continue to market our innovative solutions and services," he adds.

Starting today Navantis owns the billing process, allowing it to easily sell Office 365 subscriptions that help its customers take advantage of cloud services.

"The new Office 365 open model allows Navantis to continue to provide end to end IT Services to our clients embracing the industry's move to the cloud. While Office 365 addresses many traditional IT needs, our clients have also recognized that there is a continuing need to work with partners like ourselves to provide managed services and support around cloud based services and augment and or in some case replace the role of in-house IT," says Tucakovic.

"Microsoft has a proven track record of helping partners build their businesses and strengthen relationships with customers," said Kirk Gregersen, general manager, Microsoft Office Division. "Through the new Office 365 Open licensing model, partners will be able to offer the always-up-to-date Office applications customers know and love through trusted, industry-leading Office 365 cloud services."

The new Office 365 Open program will be the industry standard for customers to move to the cloud with confidence.

Office 365 Is for Businesses of All Sizes
Small and midsize businesses will be able to work from anywhere and boost productivity by accessing the full-featured, rich Office applications they are familiar with, on up to five devices, and delivered as an always up-to-date cloud service. In addition, the new Office unlocks new scenarios from meetings to digital note taking and reading. More information can be found at http://www.office365.com.
