ANAHEIM, Calif., March 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --Anritsu Company (booth #2519) announces that Kotura, the Silicon Photonics Company, will use Anritsu's MP1800A BERT to demonstrate the performance of WDM QSFP 100G optical modules in the Kotura booth (#3618) during OFC/NFOEC, March 19-21, Anaheim, CA. The demonstrations featuring the MP1800A will showcase how the optical modules meet the high-speed demands of data centers and Next Generation Networks (NGNs).

Kotura selected the MP1800A, in part, because it integrates a multiple synchronized 28G BERT with a built-in Pulse Pattern Generator (PPG) that supports output of high-quality, low intrinsic jitter signals, as well as a built-in Error Detector (ED) with high input sensitivity. Additionally, the MP1800A has 3.5Vp-p high output voltage so it can drive optical components, such as the Kotura WDM QSFP 100G optical module.
