NEW YORK, April 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --SHENKMAN CAPITAL MANAGEMENT, INC., one of the largest independent managers of high yield assets in the United States, is pleased to announce the appointment of Bob Sherman as Senior Vice President, Strategic Development. Bob will play a key role in client relationship management and the development and execution of the Company's strategic growth initiatives.

Before joining Shenkman Capital, Mr. Sherman was a partner at GoldenTree Asset Management, LP for over two years. Prior to GoldenTree, he was at Seix Investment Advisors for 14 years, where he eventually became the CEO.
