"We are proud to have financed projects that include housing for families, seniors and people with special needs nationwide, creating more than 7,500 units of housing in 29 states and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico," said Robert W. Davenport, President of the National Development Council.

The NDC 2013 Academyis a unique three-day training and networking opportunity featuring daily sessions following four key tracks, including Housing Development, with sessions like Asset Management for Affordable Housing, HUD One CPD and LIHTCs: Navigating the Times all focused around this year's conference theme "Delivering Community Results in Difficult Times."

During each biennial session, a special highlight is the Academy Awards Luncheon where NDC will select winners in four categories, including Housing Development, who will be awarded an NDC Academy 2013 Award and a NDC Technical Assistance Contract. Projects will be on display throughout the Academy where they will be voted on by their peers. The winners will be selected from nearly 80 projects that were submitted by community and housing development professionals across the country.
