Veidekke ASA: Veidekke's new corporate management is ready

In connection with the upcoming change of President and CEO of Veidekke from 1 July, incoming President and CEO Arne Giske has put together the new management team. Some managers will retain their responsibilities, others will be handed new tasks, and a new corporate staff manager has been appointed. "This is a highly skilled and good management team that I look forward to cooperating with in taking Veidekke forward," says Arne Giske.

Previously, the heads of the operating units have been announced, and these are:

  • Dag Andresen, who will continue as Executive Vice President with responsibility for Veidekke Entreprenoer AS

  • Joergen Wiese Porsmyr who transfers from the role as CFO to the role of Executive Vice President with responsibility for Veidekke Industri AS and Veidekke Eiendom AS

  • Per-Ingemar Persson continues as Executive Vice President and head of the building and construction units in Sweden and Denmark, but takes on responsibility for Sweden as a whole as Veidekke Bostad AB comes under his area of responsibility

In addition to this line management, corporate management will consist of:

  • Terje Larsen, Executive Vice President, CFO and responsible for IT, Procurement and Strategy

  • Hege Schoeyen Dillner, Executive Vice President, with responsibility for HR, HSE and the environment as well as Communications and Legal

One of the new faces in corporate management is thus the new CFO, Terje Larsen. Terje, who holds a degree in business economics/MBA, has since 2001 been CFO of Veidekke Entreprenoer AS. In the 12 years prior to that he held a number of management positions in finance and staff areas of the ABB Group in Norway and internationally. He will take up position as CFO on 1 September at the latest.

Hege Schoeyen Dillner is also new to corporate management. She holds a Master's degree in education from the University of Oslo (including management and organisational psychology) and has a solid background and experience in HR. She comes from the position as Division Director at the Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training, and she has also held senior HR positions in the Aker group and consulting company Capgemini. Hege will have corporate responsibility for Communications, Legal, HR, HSE and the environment.

From the current corporate staff, two of the current members of the corporate management team have requested a change of their roles now that new organisation provides a suitable opportunity.

After 15 years as EVP Communications, Kai Krüger Henriksen will transfer to a new role as special advisor to the CEO. Similarly, EVP of HR, HSE and the environment Bente Lillestoel has chosen to return to the line organisation, but before that she will take the opportunity to take unpaid leave until November.

Grete Ingeborg Nykkelmo assumes the role as Veidekke's communications director, while there are no other changes to other staff areas.

"The changes in corporate staff are based on the fact that interaction and knowledge sharing between the different disciplines of corporate staff is continually becoming more important, and we want to strengthen this through a more unified leadership," Arne Giske says.
