WASHINGTON, June 21, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Family Research Council (FRC) President Tony Perkins, along with FRC experts Peter Sprigg, Chris Gacek, J.D., Ph.D. and Ken Klukowski, J.D., will be available to discuss the upcoming U.S. Supreme Court decisions in the Proposition 8 and Defense of Marriage Act cases. Additionally, Perkins will discuss the decisions on his daily radio show, Washington Watch, on the day of the decision. FRC has been heavily involved with the movement to preserve marriage:

- Family Research Council's Ken Klukowski, J.D. attended Supreme Court oral arguments on the Defense of Marriage Act and Proposition 8. He co-authored a legal brief in the marriage litigation.

- Peter Sprigg, senior fellow for policy studies, will also be available to discuss the Defense of Marriage Act and Proposition 8 decisions. Sprigg is a nationally recognized leader on the issue of defending marriage.

- Chris Gacek, J.D., Ph.D. worked with Paul B. Linton, J.D. of the Thomas More Society on FRC's amicus briefs in the Proposition 8 and DOMA cases.

- Many of the 18,000 pastors within FRC's network of churches engaged in a series of"Stand for Marriage Sundays."
