"I'm excited that I'll be in a position to give back to the AOFAS and its members the same kind of support and leadership I have received since becoming a member myself," Easley said.

Easley earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine, Charlottesville, Va., in 1992. He performed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C., and completed an orthopaedic foot and ankle surgery fellowship at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore.

In addition to serving on the AOFAS board for the last two years, Easley has presented at AOFAS Annual Meetings, chaired the AOFAS Surgical Complications Course and served on several AOFAS committees both as committee member and chair.

About the AOFAS
