WHAT: More than 120 volunteers, including Lowe's Heroes employee volunteers, will join Rebuilding Together Hartford and Carter's Kids on September 26 and 27 for a two-day event to provide free critical home repairs to five low-income homeowners, make improvements to a local park and install a new playground for the Northeast neighborhood.

The local homeowners are receiving significant home repairs that will improve the safety and health of their homes. These residentsinclude seniors and families who have lived in the neighborhood for more than 20 years. Many of the homes require the installation of new doors, windows, lighting and critical exterior work. Profiles of the homeowner stories are available upon request.
