In addition to taking the honor in the LED Indoor Fixture category, the lighting solution also earned an Innovation Award for demonstrating excellence in overall functionality and design.
The American Lighting Association (ALA), the Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CCE), and Underwriters Laboratories, LLC (UL), co-sponsor Lighting for Tomorrow, which honors the best-designed, energy-efficient lighting products in the residential market. The awards were announced at the ALA Annual Conference in Austin, Texas on September 24.

The system took the win against 70 competitor entries. Judging criteria included light color appearance, light color rendering, appropriate illuminance, application efficiency, value and marketability, and aesthetic appearance and style.
